Room Hire

A number of the rooms can be hired for different types of events. You are welcome to come and see the resources in order to consider which room would be best for your needs. The rooms are all on the first floor of the building, and can be reached using the wide staircase or the lift.

YSTAFELL IDRIS

This is a multi-purpose room that can seat up to 75. A number of tables of different sizes/shapes are also available, along with comfortable seating.

The room can also be cleared as an empty space. There is enough space here to host a ‘twmpath’ / folk dance, and a special space for any exhibition.

The room is also suitable for live performances, with a permanent stage available along with dedicated lighting. A sound system can be arranged if desired.

The Idris Room is regularly used by external groups, such as local associations, along with hosting an annual art exhibition by the Meirionnydd Artists’ Association.

It is a wonderful room for a cabaret style.

AUDITORIUM

The seats in Tŷ Siamas auditorium are semi-circular with space for 86.

The Auditorium is a suitable space for live performances, especially acoustic sets. It has also staged dramatic presentations, plays, lectures, and is home to local choir rehearsals.

A piano is available in the Auditorium along with a projector.

Wi-Fi is available in this room.

BAR AREA

The bar is a suitable room for informal meetings but smaller in size. It is a modern looking room with a view over Eldon Square from the first floor.

The bar is located next to Idris Room.

Seating can be arranged for up to 35; tables and chairs are available as well as comfortable leather seats.

Light refreshments can be provided for meetings at a reasonable cost, with advance notice.
